Dear residents of New Zealand and all those planning a trip to Japan!
We present you with a special Street Kart adventure that you can

districts, and many other diverse attractions of Japan, explored through
Street Kart, will transform your Japan trip into unforgettable memories.
This is a special opportunity to discover Japan’s high-density urban
culture from a new perspective, so different from the nature-rich cities
of Auckland and Wellington.

Important: This Street Kart experience is a service limited
to Japan only. We do not operate Street Kart services in New Zealand.
Please enjoy this as a special experience during your visit to
Japan.

From Aotearoa (Land of the Long White Cloud) to the Land of the
Rising Sun – Japan. When both countries’ island cultures and respect for
nature meet, new discoveries and emotions are born. Why not explore
Japanese gardens so different from fjords, and cities where cutting-edge
technology breathes, through the new method of Street Kart?

Japanese Street Kart –
Urban Adventure

Japanese Street Kart is an urban-type adventure, different from New
Zealand’s outdoor activities. With small karts that can travel on public
roads, you can feel Japan’s streetscapes directly on your skin while
sightseeing. Particularly, the ability to drive while wearing Japanese
anime character cosplay is a special experience unique to Japan in the
world.

With Kiwis’ adventurous spirit and relaxed personality, you’ll surely
love this unique and fun tourism style. It’s a different form of
adrenaline experience from bungee jumping.

Safety maintains the highest standards, same as New Zealand’s
adventure tourism. All vehicles undergo rigorous inspections and are
accompanied by experienced guides. English support is naturally
perfect.

Journey from New Zealand to
Japan

Direct flights are available from Auckland International Airport to
Japan. Air New Zealand operates direct flights to Tokyo (Narita) and
Osaka (Kansai), with flight times of approximately 10-11 hours.

New Zealand passport holders do not need a visa for entry to Japan
for tourism purposes within 90 days. Immigration procedures are smooth,
and tourists from New Zealand are warmly welcomed.

The time difference is 3 hours behind Japan (4 hours during daylight
saving). With minimal time difference, jet lag is also minimal.

Tokyo – Marvel of
Population Density

Tokyo has about three times New Zealand’s entire population living in
one city. This density difference will be an overwhelming experience for
Kiwis. However, the order and efficiency are remarkable.

Shibuya Scramble Crossing has a flow of people incomparable to
Auckland’s Queen Street. The sight like a human river provides a new way
of seeing cities.

Shinjuku Gyoen and Yoyogi Park are oases within the city. Different
from New Zealand’s vast parks, you can enjoy Japan’s unique landscaping
beauty.

The view from Skytree offers a different scale of urban panorama from
Sky Tower. The cityscape extending to the horizon is a new form of
grandeur.

Osaka – Friendly Commercial
City

Osaka is a city with a friendly atmosphere that shares commonalities
with New Zealanders’ friendliness. It has generosity that connects with
the “No worries” spirit.

Dotonbori’s bustle is a neon-lit commercial district different from
Wellington’s waterfront.

Osaka’s humour differs from Kiwis’ dry humour, but the culture of
cherishing laughter is common.

Street foods like takoyaki and okonomiyaki are Japanese common folk
flavours, different from fish and chips.

Japan’s
Four Seasons – Differences from Temperate Oceanic Climate

Spring cherry blossoms are more spectacular than New Zealand’s spring
flowers. The way they bloom all at once and scatter in a short time is
nature’s drama.

Summer is humid and hot, greatly different from New Zealand’s
comfortable summer. However, there’s a culture of enjoying heat through
fireworks displays and summer festivals.

Autumn foliage offers dramatic colour changes that cannot be
experienced with New Zealand’s evergreens. The sight of entire mountains
appearing to burn is magnificent.

Winter snow will be a rare experience for the North Island. Snow
viewing in hot springs offers different enjoyment from Rotorua’s hot
springs.
